I have made significant contributions to the development of IEEE 802.11/15/18 standards, the WiFi Alliance, Bluetooth SIG, and Hewlett Packard’s Bluetooth and IEEE 802.11-enabled printers and JetDirect print servers, among other networking systems and products. I am a solutions-focused Principal RF Hardware Systems engineer offering 22 years of progressive experience as well as a Master’s degree in Electrical engineering, a Bachelors Degree in Robotics (mechanical and electrical engineering), and Physics Minor in Optics.
I have led many cross-functional and international teams, been a reliable and strong team player, and have succeeded as an individual engineer/ technologist. Multitasking has always been my forte. I have led a product development team and had specific design deliverables, while at the same time working on IEEE 802.11 standards, WiFi Alliance test procedures, a cross functional international team procuring wireless modules, and working with marketing and other architects on next generation products and roadmaps. I have proven myself dedicated to researching, designing, developing, and testing innovative, customer-centric product solutions. Likewise, I have maintained awareness of emerging technologies that will impact next-generation devices.
I live in the beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills in California with my wife, Linda, and two children. I enjoy backpacking, traveling, and just being with my family.
